THE EDISON proudly presents the weekly Wednesday event INCANDESCENE. Come experience the exquisite gyrations of gifted eccentriques every Wednesday as the Dark Side of Light seduces Downtown LA. The spirit of Weimar's Cabaret and the Paris of our imagination come alive within the walls of the Historic Edison. Cirque performers from around the Globe join Vignette Artists, Aerialists and Dancers to offer a peek into the decadent, sensuous underbelly of the Los Angeles of our dreams. AiRealistic (www.airealistic.com) will perform throughout the night starting at 8:30pm with music provided by the talented resident mixmaster DJ Imagika (www.myspace.com/djimagika). Tickets are $10 and are available online or at the door. The Edison is one of if not the best downtown LA night spot. Located in the basement of the original Los Angeles Edison Power Building it is a cool time warp to the 1930’s – 50’s. The Edison feature several lounge areas with furniture and spaces created from some of the original power plant machinery, background music and media visuals from the roaring era, and live dance acts throughout the night. You can get more info online at www.edisondowntown.com. Dress code is STRICTLY ENFORCED so leave your tennis shoes and T-Shirts home. The Edison is located at 108 W. 2nd Street #101 in downtown LA with the entrance in the Harlem Place alleyway.
