He is also known to bring out his full band to up the intensity level. Shine is a classic power popster of the stripped down new wave tense type, who sounds a good deal like 1977-1979 Elvis Costello when he was spitting hard into microphones and front rows. A favored support act, Ari has opened for many bands and artist including Ian Hunter, Great Lake Swimmers, Rhett Miller (Old 97s), Silversun Pickups, New Years Day, GOB, Kris Rowe (the Ataris), Gin Blossoms, Peter Case, John Doe, Danny Wilde (the Rembrandts) and Liam Finn.
